#51: M_PI definition not always available to wavetoy-loopcontrol.c -------------------------------------------+-------------------------------- Reporter: richard.oshaughnessy@… | Type: defect Status: new | Priority: minor Milestone: | Component: Cactus Version: ET_2010_06 | Keywords: c99 -------------------------------------------+-------------------------------- In certain situations, I've hit the following error /home/oshaughn/Numerical/EinsteinToolkit/Cactus/arrangements/Carpet/LoopControl/src /wavetoy-loopcontrol.c:183: error: 'M_PI' undeclared (first use in this function) Per Frank: "it is probably finding math.h, but M_PI is not declared in that file, at least not from C99 on (it was before). It's strange that nobody found that before, C99 should be standard with Cactus nowadays." -- Ticket URL: <https://trac.einsteintoolkit.org/ticket/51> Einstein Toolkit <http://einsteintoolkit.org> The Einstein Toolkit

[Einstein Toolkit] #47: Doesn't output complete command to screen

#47: Doesn't output complete command to screen -------------------------+-------------------------------------------------- Reporter: eschnett | Owner: mthomas Type: enhancement | Status: new Priority: minor | Milestone: Component: SimFactory | Version: Keywords: | -------------------------+-------------------------------------------------- SimFactory doesn't output the complete commands that it executes. It seems to omit the local environcmd. For example, below is the output of an aborted command. The top shows the screen output, the error message below shows the actual command which also contains a "{ :; }". [Einstein Toolkit] #40: cleanup Library builds
by Einstein Toolkit 13 Oct '10

13 Oct '10

#40: cleanup Library builds -------------------------+-------------------------------------------------- Reporter: knarf | Owner: Type: enhancement | Status: new Priority: minor | Milestone: Component: Cactus | Version: Keywords: | -------------------------+-------------------------------------------------- Libraries in ExternalLibraries typically leave their build around. In some cases this can take up quite a lot of space - per configuration. E.g. for HDF5 this is about 800MB. In most cases a 'make clean' after 'make install' would still leave the used source around, but safe most of the space. Another possibility would be to remove the unpacked source completely. I tested the first approach with HDF5 (one one machine), successfully. To test it yourself, uncomment the 'make clean' lines in the HDF5.sh script. -- Ticket URL: <https://trac.einsteintoolkit.org/ticket/40> Einstein Toolkit <http://einsteintoolkit.org> The Einstein Toolkit
