#27: Count restarts starting from 0 --------------------------+------------------------------------------------- Reporter: eschnett | Owner: mthomas Type: enhancement | Status: closed Priority: minor | Milestone: Component: SimFactory | Version: Resolution: fixed | Keywords: --------------------------+------------------------------------------------- Changes (by mthomas): * status: new => closed * resolution: => fixed Comment: this is done. The change was in restartlib.py, the function GetMaxRestartId, which previously returned 0 if the len of the discovered restart id's for a given simulation was 0. Now, it returns -1. The function GetRestartId inside simrestart.py then increments that value by 1 to determine the restart id. -- Ticket URL: <https://trac.einsteintoolkit.org/ticket/27#comment:1> Einstein Toolkit <http://einsteintoolkit.org> The Einstein Toolkit

[Einstein Toolkit] #41: When an external library is rebuilt, its dependencies should also be rebuilt
by Einstein Toolkit 13 Oct '10

#41: When an external library is rebuilt, its dependencies should also be rebuilt ----------------------+----------------------------------------------------- Reporter: eschnett | Owner: Type: defect | Status: new Priority: minor | Milestone: Component: Cactus | Version: Keywords: | ----------------------+----------------------------------------------------- When an external library (such as e.g. BLAS) is rebuilt, then all its dependencies (such as e.g. LAPACK) should also be rebuilt. Cactus knows these dependencies via the configuration.ccl declarations, but these are not checked in the scripts that determine whether to rebuild. -- Ticket URL: <https://trac.einsteintoolkit.org/ticket/41> Einstein Toolkit <http://einsteintoolkit.org> The Einstein Toolkit

[Einstein Toolkit] #22: logging the exact simactory commands
by Einstein Toolkit 13 Oct '10

13 Oct '10

#22: logging the exact simactory commands -------------------------+-------------------------------------------------- Reporter: korobkin | Owner: mrthomas Type: enhancement | Status: new Priority: minor | Milestone: Component: SimFactory | Version: Keywords: LOG | -------------------------+-------------------------------------------------- I suggest to log simfactory commands verbatim in a simulation LOG file. This can be helpful for reproducing a simulation at a later time. Also, it can help finding errors in the command-line options, passed to simfactory. -- Ticket URL: <https://trac.einsteintoolkit.org/ticket/22> Einstein Toolkit <http://www.einsteintoolkit.org> The Einstein Toolkit
