#59: Unnecessary warning message -------------------------+-------------------------------------------------- Reporter: hinder | Owner: mthomas Type: defect | Status: new Priority: major | Milestone: Component: SimFactory | Version: Resolution: | Keywords: -------------------------+-------------------------------------------------- Comment (by mthomas): I need more information in order to fix this bug. Does this happen every time you submit the given simulation, or just the first time? This warning comes up if it cant access basedir/<simulationname>. Trying to figure out how that situation can occur. Thanks! -- Ticket URL: <https://trac.einsteintoolkit.org/ticket/59#comment:1> Einstein Toolkit <http://einsteintoolkit.org> The Einstein Toolkit

#58: Default configuration name cannot be overridden by the user -------------------------+-------------------------------------------------- Reporter: hinder | Owner: mthomas Type: defect | Status: closed Priority: major | Milestone: Component: SimFactory | Version: Resolution: fixed | Keywords: -------------------------+-------------------------------------------------- Changes (by mthomas): * status: new => closed * resolution: => fixed Comment: This bug has been fixed. Specifying default-configuration-name = sim2 *above* [default] (in the global namespace) now correctly works. -- Ticket URL: <https://trac.einsteintoolkit.org/ticket/58#comment:2> Einstein Toolkit <http://einsteintoolkit.org> The Einstein Toolkit

Re: [ET Trac] [Einstein Toolkit] #8: Unable to do remote submission without configuring your local machine

#8: Unable to do remote submission without configuring your local machine --------------------------+------------------------------------------------- Reporter: hinder | Owner: mthomas Type: enhancement | Status: closed Priority: minor | Milestone: Component: SimFactory | Version: Resolution: wontfix | Keywords: --------------------------+------------------------------------------------- Changes (by mthomas): * status: assigned => closed * resolution: => wontfix Comment: This isn't going to be able to be fixed, but I've made several commands in order to make this less onerous. 'sim setup' will initiate an interactive setup that prompts for the barebones configuration necessary to get started. It creates the required mdb entry for the local machine based upon etc/mdb/generic.ini. If you don't want to do it interactively, you can type 'sim setup-silent' and pass the following options: --setup-user --setup-email --setup-sourcebasedir -- Ticket URL: <https://trac.einsteintoolkit.org/ticket/8#comment:2> Einstein Toolkit <http://einsteintoolkit.org> The Einstein Toolkit
