#399: Spurious warnings while synchronising

I receive many warnings such as the ones below when using GRHydro with the
git version of Carpet:
WARNING level 2 in thorn Carpet processor 0 host erik-schnetters-macbook-
pro.local
(line 120 of /Users/eschnett/EinsteinToolkit-
vanilla/arrangements/Carpet/Carpet/src/Comm.cc):
-> Cannot synchronise group "HYDROBASE::BVEC" because it has no storage
I assume that this slows down execution significantly.

#387: Fortran interface to LoopControl broken in stable Carpet

the Fortran interface no longer matches the C interface. When the C
routines are called from Fortran then paramters are missing and the types
for lt_statmap etc. in loopcontrol.F90 do not match loopcontrol.h anymore.
Right now it segfaults.
The attached patch brings the Fortran interface back into sync with the C
interface. Tested with the attached modified version of GRHydro.
Also requires a patch to f_file_processor.pl (separate ticket, to be
created).
The same issue (Fortran interface not being aware of the vectorisation
seems to apply to the Mercurial version as well)

#391: What happened to the citation link on the ET website?

The citation link on the ET website has vanished from the navigation side
bar without any log message. I don't think this kind of changes follows
any kind of best practices manual. We can't simply change the ET main
webpage and not leave a
good message of what has been changed.

#338: GetComponents on Cactus website is out of date

When I download GetComponents using the instructions at
http://cactuscode.org/documentation/GetComponents.php
I get the following warning when I run it:
You are using an outdated version of GetComponents. Please use the version
from GitHub (https://github.com/gridaphobe/CRL) (if you are using the
Einstein Toolkit, the new version should already be in
Cactus/bin/GetComponents
The version of GetComponents on the Cactus website should be automatically
updated from the GitHub repository when the repository is changed. It
should not be necessary for users to have Git to check out Cactus.

#388: handling of OMP continuation lines in f_file_processor.pl
--------------------+-------------------------------------------------------
Reporter: rhaas | Owner: rhaas
Type: defect | Status: new
Priority: minor | Milestone:
Component: Cactus | Version:
Keywords: |

OpenMP requires continuation lines in Fortran 90 (and possibly Fortran 77
as well though I have not checked that) to start with the OMP sentinel
(https://computing.llnl.gov/tutorials/openMP/#Directives).
The attached patch to f_file_processor.pl ensures that a sentinel OMP or
HPF is repeated when a line starting with that sentinel is broken to limit
its length to 132 characters.
It also adds a case-insensitive flag to the check for "!" like comments
and adds extra backslashes to the standard_comments regex to properly
match $OMP after all metacharacters have been handled.
Tested with LoopControl's Fortran interface on gcc 4.5 and Intel 11.1
(using LoopControl's Fortran interface, see ticket #387).

#398: --update changes files even if they are not changed
---------------------------+------------------------------------------------
Reporter: eschnett | Owner: eric9

Priority: minor | Milestone:
Component: GetComponents | Version:

---------------------------+------------------------------------------------
GetComponents --update modifies the timestamp of files in Mercurial
repositories even if these files are not changed.
I assume this is the case because it uses push/pop to stash away local
changes temporarily.
It may be that git suffers from the same problem.

This is just a reminder for myself (and others in the same situation) that
it would be a good idea to put given talks/slides on the ET online at some
portion of the web pages.

#393: GRHydro test cases fail on Hopper

Some of the GRHydro test cases fail on Hopper. This also happens to be the
only machine where we are using a PGI compiler.
I looked at the results, and I find that the differences are about
2.5e-12, slightly above the tolerance of 1.0e-12. I suggest to increase
the tolerance.
