#2647: incorrect WENO coefficient in GRHydro WENO reconstruction code
Reporter: Roland Haas
Status: open
Milestone:
Version:
Type: bug
Priority: major
Component: EinsteinToolkit thorn
Comment (by Roland Haas):
In case it helps, the “average to left” matrix that one needs is the product of the “average to center” and “center to left” matrices show in the WHAM paper. And in Maple code this would be:
```
with(linalg);
C_cl := matrix([[15/8, -5/4, 3/8], [3/8, 3/4, -1/8], [-1/8, 3/4, 3/8]]);
C_ac := matrix([[23/24, 1/12, -1/24],[-1/24, 13/12, -1/24],[-1/24, 1/12, 23/24]]);
C_al := multiply(C_cl, C_ac);
```
which gives:
```
[ 11/6 -7/6 1/3 ]
C_al = [ 1/3 5/6 -1/6 ]
[ -1/6 5/6 1/3 ]
```
which is almost what shows up in the code. The matrix is used in the code. Except that the code sorts by a different index \(see comment “ these are from equ. \(18\) and \(19\) when substituting into each other and sorting by the index i-r\+j”\).

#2656: PreSync syncing more than old code
Reporter: Samuel Cupp
Status: resolved
Milestone:
Version: development version
Type: bug
Priority: major
Component: Carpet
Changes (by Samuel Cupp):
status: resolved (was new)
Comment (by Samuel Cupp):
After discussions with Eric and Roland, I have managed to determine that the syncs called in Restrict by PreSync are called in the old code in PostRestrict. While they have moved around, the total number of syncs is the same.

#2526: McLachlan has incorrect READ declarations for presync.
Reporter: Peter Diener
Status: new
Milestone: ET_2021_05
Version: development version
Type: bug
Priority: major
Component: EinsteinToolkit thorn
Comment (by Samuel Cupp):
Is there a plan to resolve this issue? I’m mainly commenting to make sure the ticket doesn’t get buried. I’ve been aware of this problem for a while and always just manually commented it out, but I don’t know if anyone has worked on this bug.

Comment (by Roland Haas):
The code for this is in `src/main/CommandLine.c` in the function `CCTKi_CommandLineDescribeAllParameters`. A pull request should be straightforward \(to remove the parameter vectors one can look at the `array_size` and `array_index` members of the `properties` structure I guess.\).

Thank you. Glad to see that this worked. Would you also mind to update the web-page at \(in the www repository to which you have write access\): [http://einsteintoolkit.org/gallery/poisson/index.html](http://einsteintoolk… by updating the “This example was last tested on” date and the link to the current data set?
