Documentation for GiRaFFE is located in the GiRaFFE/doc directory (you'll see documentation.tex and references.bib). It can be built with the usual:
pdflatex documentation.tex pdflatex documentation.tex bibtex documentation.aux pdflatex documentation.tex
The documentation build system currently does not support BibTeX, which might explain why the GiRaFFE documentation isn't appearing on your radar.
