This is probably a configuration issue; this routine does exist, but the
compiler may not be linking agains the libiomp5 or libirc libraries that
define it.

If a schedule.ccl file contains
schedule group A in A
the CST hangs at "Creating schedule bindings...". This error in the
schedule.ccl file should be detected and a fatal error message should be
generated.

#833: Cannot check out the ET

Reporter: hinder | Owner:

--------------------+-------------------------------------------------------
The automated build and test system has failed to check out the ET for the
last 6 days. One error log is at
http://damiana2.aei.mpg.de/~ianhin/testsuites/einsteintoolkit/einsteintoolk….
This appears to be a problem with the svn.cct.lsu.edu server because this
is the server hosting the failed thorns.
Also, when run from the automated build and test, GetComponents is giving
the following warning:
{{{
+ ./GetComponents -a --root=. --update einsteintoolkit.th
Use of uninitialized value in concatenation (.) or string at
./GetComponents line 2528.

#844: Ability to specify single variables in SYNC, not just groups
-------------------------+--------------------------------------------------
Reporter: knarf | Owner:
Type: enhancement | Status: new
Priority: minor | Milestone:
Component: Cactus | Version: development version
Keywords: |
-------------------------+--------------------------------------------------
It is sometimes desirable to be able to specify single variables within
SYNC statements instead of only groups of variables, as this currently
forces a certain pattern of how to group variables.
The argument that multiple variables are best synced together should not
really hold: Cactus accumulates the list of variables to be synced anyway.

It would be nice to have a "time line" of the Einstein Toolkit on the web
site. This would be a page depicting important events, e.g. the first
public Cactus release, the first ET release, adding support for GRMHD,
etc.

#836: Improve MPI barriers in Carpet
-------------------------+--------------------------------------------------
Reporter: hinder | Owner: eschnett
Type: enhancement | Status: new
Priority: minor | Milestone:
Component: Carpet | Version:
Keywords: |
-------------------------+--------------------------------------------------
The attached patches add functionality to the MPI barriers in Carpet:
[PATCH 1/2] Add parameter sync_barriers to insert an MPI barrier before
every sync
This causes each process to wait for all the others to reach this point in
the execution. This will happen anyway (for most of the processes) during
the sync, and adding this barrier means that this time is not included in
the sync timer. Also add a new timer to time this barrier.
[PATCH 2/2] Carpet: Add a timer around the scheduled functions barrier
OK to apply?
