Hi all, Here are the minutes from yesterday’s meeting. Cheers, Leo ------------ Present: Roland (Chair), Leo (Minutes), Peter, Zach, Steve, Deborah, Keith, Maxwell, Lucas, Johnny *ET Release* - We now have a timeline: current step is finishing code reviews. - CCE: Lucas started review, pointed out missing things. Deborah is working on adding them and validating the code output. - FLRWSolver: Zach sent initial review to champion, who updated the code. Zach received the files and will perform second round of review. - BHaHAHA: Peter is reviewing and will finish this or next week. - Z4c: Still trying to get tests up and running. *Upcoming NA ET Summer School (Austin, TX)* - Website is up and running: https://indico.global/event/14071/ - Registration is now open! - Accepting both in-person and online attendance. - Deadline to apply for travel support: May 15 (subject to change). *Open Tickets & ready for review* - #2861: Lucas helped user resolve most of the issues. User asked how to enable subcycling, so Lucas will tell them to contact Liwei. - #2864: Spectre CCE exporter under review. - #2848: updates to FLRWSolver under review. - #2633: Peter added missing documentation and will be in touch with Steve. ------ Leonardo R. 2025 Registration opens for North American Einstein Toolkit School and Workshop

Dear all, The registration for the North American Einstein Toolkit workshop is now open until May 31, 2025. The workshop will be held at the University of Texas at Austin from June 09 - 13. The link to the external registration form can be found on the event website: https://indico.global/event/14071/page/4351-registration If you would like to apply for travel support, please register before April 30, 2025 for full consideration. The workshop is an opportunity for researchers and students to learn about the Einstein Toolkit (*https://einsteintoolkit.org/* <https://einsteintoolkit.org/>), a community-driven software platform of core computational tools to advance and support research in relativistic astrophysics and gravitational physics. The workshop will offer a mixture of talks and tutorials. The tutorials provide an opportunity for new users to become familiar with the Einstein Toolkit cyberinfrastructure. The talks are aimed at highlighting exciting science using the tools of numerical relativity, in particular, the Einstein Toolkit. At the end of the workshop, there will be a broad discussion on future directions of the Einstein Toolkit. GW150914 par file without Llama?

Hi, I need a parameter file similar to the GW150914 binary black hole example but without the Llama patches. Does anyone already have something like that I could use? If not, would it be a good idea for me to start from the qc0-mclachlan example and adapt that to my needs? It seems like that might be easier than trying to work backward from GW150914.par? Is there anything old/outdated in the qc0-mclachlan example which I should be aware of? Also, can anyone tell me why qc0-mclachlan uses 3 refinement centres (CarpetRegrid2::num_centres = 3) and not 2 as in GW150914? Thanks, Rhiannon.
