I would like to inquire about any left-over issues holding up the release. So far, only one ticket is still open, has an applied patch and only waits for test results: https://trac.einsteintoolkit.org/ticket/434.
Is there anything else that somebody considers holding up the release? If I don't receive anything by about noon today we will release

This is a bit late I admit, but is there interest in providing a link to tar ball of a release checkout (ie the result of GetComponents ... && tar cz Cactus) on the website? This would make download easier for new users and offer a more familiar way of downloading software. Since the release hardly ever changes (and we include the version control metadata) users would loose no functionality compared to the GetComponents method. I have had at least one user report where this was suggested.
