Dear Zach,
I was not aware that rotating neutron star initial data was not included in the Einstein Toolkit. Can you tell me more about RotNS ? It may be that I have to write the initial data myself although I am not proficient enough with ET to do so at the moment. Can you help ?
Maitraya.

Hi Maitraya,
Which initial data thorn were you planning to use? There is a rotating neutron star initial data thorn (RotNS, I believe) that was *proposed* for inclusion into the Toolkit, but none officially in the Toolkit as far as I am aware. Can LORENE generate such data?

Hi,
Does anyone have access to a parameter file for generating a single rotating neutron star with IllinoisGRMHD ?
Please help!

Hello all,

Not to my knowledge. The only single star LORENE reader in the ET is for a magnetized NS.
RNS is proposed in https://bitbucket.org/einsteintoolkit/einsteininitialdata/pull-requests/3/ne... and that one seems to contain a set of parfiles as well.
You should be able to use this ID with IllinoisGRMHD as well (just take the TOV example and swap tovsolver for rnsid).
BTW reviewers for the thorn are welcome.
I'll create a ticket for the inclusion.
Yours, Roland
Dear All:
To test Hydro_RNS one has to go to directory:
cd repos/einsteininitialdata git checkout Hydro_RNSID
One this change has been done one need to create the simlink in the Arrangment directory
cd arrangements/EinsteinInitialData ln -s ../../repos/einsteininitialdata/Hydro_RNSID/ Hydro_RNSID
Then one should add to the ThonList
EinsteinInitialData/Hydro_RNSID
By default it use GR_Hydro since it feel in conservative variables. since filling in conserved variables.
In principle to work with IllinoisGRMHD one has to take out reference to GRHydro and the writing of conserved variables.
