Ram asked for the best references to Cactus / Carpet / Kranc for purposes of citing in a paper he's writing. What would we prefer he cite?
Cheers, Steve

See

For some reason, Kranc is not listed there. Citing instructions for Kranc are on the Kranc web page: http://kranccode.org/.
This page also doesn't say how to cite the flesh, i.e. Cactus itself:
@InProceedings{Goodale2002a, author = {Tom Goodale and Gabrielle Allen and Gerd Lanfermann and Joan Mass{'o} and Thomas Radke and Edward Seidel and John Shalf}, title = {The {Cactus} Framework and Toolkit: Design and Applications}, booktitle = {Vector and Parallel Processing -- VECPAR'2002, 5th International Conference, Lecture Notes in Computer Science}, year = 2003, address = {Berlin}, publisher = {Springer}, url = {http://edoc.mpg.de/3341%7D, }
In addition to these papers, we often also cite the corresponding web sites, since this is useful for people: cactuscode.org, carpetcode.org, einsteintoolkit.org, etc.
