#336: Increase timestamp speed
----------------------------------+-----------------------------------------
Reporter: eschnett | Owner:
Type: enhancement | Status: new
Priority: minor | Milestone:
Component: EinsteinToolkit trac | Version:
Keywords: |

The current time stamp mechanism in simfactory creates files with a scheme
"timestamp-NUMBER", where NUMBER denotes the time. Looking for such files
requires iterating over the directory.
Instead, we can use a fixed file name, and use the file creation time as
time stamp. (We can additionally write the time stamp into the file,
probably in a human readable form.) Accessing this time stamp is a single
"stat" operation that should be quicker.
This method has the additional advantage that the time stamps always have
the same file name.

#351: Formaline aborts simulation when parameter file does not have an extension
---------------------------------+------------------------------------------
Reporter: kdionyso@… | Type: defect
Status: new | Priority: major
Milestone: | Component: Cactus
Version: | Keywords:
---------------------------------+------------------------------------------
When I ran a simulation with Formaline enabled using a parameter file with
no extension, Cactus aborted with an std::out_of_range error right at
startup. Adding an extension to the file, makes the run start with no
problem. The error occurs in Formaline/src/id.cc:130.

#345: Quickly show "my tickets"

It would be useful to be able to show, from a link on the main page, for
the currently logged in user, a list of tickets which I am interested in.
These tickets would be those for which I am the owner or reporter, or I
have commented on or am in the CC field of. A bookmark in my web browser
to a custom query addresses most of these, but I can't see how to include
those tickets that I have commented on but am not the owner or reporter
of.

I believe that the output of the submit script is lost, i.e. is not
recorded. It should be recorded in the simulation's log file.

#340: Improve error message when parameter file is not found
------------------------+---------------------------------------------------
Reporter: eschnett | Owner: mthomas
Type: defect | Status: new
Priority: minor | Milestone:
Component: SimFactory | Version:
Keywords: |
------------------------+---------------------------------------------------
I specified a wrong path "par/recover.par" for a parameter file, and
Simfactory didn't find the parameter file. Simfactory's error message was:
Error: specified parfile /project/numrel/eschnett/philip/EinsteinToolkit-
hg/simfactory/etc/parfiles/par/recover.par does not exist or is not
readable
This is confusing, since the parameter file was not in the "parfiles"
directory of Simfactory. Simfactory should list all the places where it
looked for a parameter file, and should also output what the user actually
specified.
