#277: list-simulations is incomplete

list-simulations does not distinguish between active and inactive
simulations. Only active simulations have a current restart.
Also, a simulation can never be "HELD", since this indicates a
presubmitted restart (and is not a simulation state).
If a simulation has no valid restarts, then it is simply inactive, and a
restart was never submitted. The message "skipping" sounds as if there was
a problem, but there is none.

#269: new python simfactory revision does not create a new simulation directory

With a revision of mid of December it was possible to create a new
simulation directory automatically using
simfactory/sim submit
In the newest revision 1191 (4.2.2011) this is not possible any longer. It
is required now to use simfactory/sim create-submit

I tried 'sim login philip' from outside my sourcebasedir. I expected to be
logged into philip. However, simfactory insisted that I should be inside a
subdir of sourcebasedir. I don't think this is actually needed for the
'login' process, is it?

Hi,

The warnings about the Cactus location shouldn't be there (simfactory
shouldn't care about that, but that is already mentioned in another
ticket), and might be unrelated to the error later, which aborts.

The "--verbose" option currently has two effects: one, it makes the output
of e.g. list-simulations more detailed, and two, it outputs debug messages
while simfactory is running. These are different purposes, and there
should be different options for both.
